Abraham Spence, MD completed his training in Urology at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He received his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Dr. Spence completed his graduate medical education in General Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, and Urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
He has particular interests in men's health including:
- Erectile dysfunction
- Low testosterone
- Urologic oncology including kidney and bladder
- Kidney stones
- No-scalpel vasectomy
- Urinary tract infections
- Minimally invasive surgery including both robotic surgery and laparo-endoscopic surgery
- Enlarged prostate diagnosis and treatment
- Bladder and voiding dysfunctions
Dr. Spence places the highest priority on individualizing each patient’s care to offer a comprehensive treatment plan to help ensure the best patient outcomes. He strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to urologic disease, and works closely with his colleagues to establish the best team for each individual patient.
