Dr. Monique Scally grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and attended Upper Darby High School. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Temple University in 1991. Dr. Scally took a job as a social worker at the Public Defenders office of Philadelphia. In 1996 she enrolled at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and in 2000 she became a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Her internship and residency were completed at Pennsylvania Hospital in 2004 and she preceded to Temple University Medical center where she completed a Cardiology Fellowship in 2007. After graduation, she joined her sister, Dr. Amy S. Burhanna, at Coastal Cardiology. Dr. Scally presently serves Cape Regional Medical Center as Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, a Member at Large on the Medical Executive Committee and as a participant on the Peer Review Committee. Dr. Scally is Board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
