Alexandra Caulfield was born and raised in Hockessin, Delaware. She attended the University of Delaware, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition with a minor in Biology. During her time at the University of Delaware Alexandra participated actively in academic research investigating the relationship between nutrition, cognitive function, and cardiovascular function, and had two articles published in The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology. While at University of Delaware, she spent time abroad in Italy and Switzerland.
After graduation from University of Delaware, Alexandra attended Hofstra University in Long Island, NY where she received a Master of Science with Distinction in Physician Assistant Studies graduating in December 2018. She is a board certified physician assistant with an active license in the State of New Jersey.
After graduation she worked as an internal medicine physician assistant at Christiana Care Hospital in Delaware. She joined Jersey Urology Group in January 2020, and her focus is urologic oncology. Alexandra strives to provide high quality patient-centered care, and is interested in leadership and team-based opportunities.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Urological Association. Alexandra lives in Ocean City, and in her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling, creating new recipes, and spending time outdoors with her husband and golden retriever puppy.
